Lakewood Golf Course is an 18 hole par 72 course located in the upper Kennebec Valley on Route 201 in Madison, just outside of Skowhegan, Maine. Built in the early 1920’s as part of the Lakewood Colony summer resort the original nine has a classic links feel and a good balance between challenge and playability. The back nine, designed by Phil Wogan and completed in 1995, is a parkland course cut out of the thick Maine woods. Our beautiful, meticulously maintained course combines well-designed holes, including Maine’s only Par 6, with amazing scenery to give you a great golfing experience.  Nestled amongst white pines and beautiful mountain views the 6,279 yards at Lakewood is challenging and welcoming to all golfers at any skill level.
